The Nidecker Tape Deck is a freestyle snowboard designed for riders who want to combine ’90s nostalgia with modern performance. With a clear focus on park riding, it’s aimed at intermediate to advanced snowboarders looking for a lively, responsive, and fun board on all the features in the resort. Its true twin shape and positive camber profile make it a precise tool, equally at home on rails and kickers. The Nidecker Tape Deck snowboard combines the energetic pop expected in the park with reliable edge control, allowing you to link lines with confidence.
The Tape Deck is designed for intensive resort riding, with a park rating of 5/5 and a resort rating of 4/5. It’s built for riders who hit the snowparks regularly and want a board that responds instantly to every move. The true twin geometry ensures perfect symmetry between the nose and tail, making the board identical in both directions: you can ride switch without any loss of feel or performance. This freedom to ride switch is a direct asset for freestyle and for building varied runs.
The Tape Deck’s positive camber profile delivers crisp edge grip and direct power transfer between your feet and the snow. This profile is particularly well-suited for riders looking to make the most of every push to launch a powerful ollie or exit a rail cleanly. The mid-stiff flex (3/5) positions the board between playful flexibility and responsive stiffness: forgiving enough to help you progress on park features, yet firm enough to respond precisely to pressure at high speeds. This flex level is suitable for advanced intermediate riders who have mastered the basics of the park and want to take their riding to the next level.
The construction of the Nidecker Tape Deck snowboard is based on several complementary technologies that work together to deliver lightness, responsiveness, and comfort. Here are the key elements of this design:
The entire design is built on a premium sandwich construction with carbon stringers, which accelerates edge response and improves shock absorption when landing tricks.
The Tape Deck features a 2x4 insert system with six rows spaced 2 cm apart, offering great flexibility in adjusting the spacing and angle of the bindings. This standard is compatible with all 4-hole bindings on the market and can also accommodate most Channel systems using adapter discs. This allows you to precisely configure your setup according to your usual stance, without any compatibility issues.
Available in 153 and 156W lengths, the Tape Deck is designed for men looking for a structured freestyle board capable of performing on all features in a snowpark while remaining enjoyable to ride on the rest of the mountain. If your riding revolves around the park, rails, and kickers, and you’re looking to improve your switch riding and tricks, the Nidecker Tape Deck snowboard is a technical solution perfectly aligned with these goals.
