Designed for junior skiers, the Helly Hansen RIDER 3.0 INS Ski Suit keeps kids comfortable during their winter days on the slopes and in the snow. It’s designed for young skiers who need reliable protection from the elements while skiing and playing outdoors. Its HELLY TECH® Performance technology provides waterproof, breathable, and windproof protection, while PrimaLoft® BLACK Eco insulation ensures consistent warmth. The garment’s full-body cut and targeted reinforcements contribute to durability and comfort throughout each outing.

Waterproof protection and controlled warmth for junior ski days

At the heart of this children’s ski suit, the two-layer HELLY TECH® Performance technology provides an effective barrier against moisture, wind, and snow, while allowing vapor to escape to limit the buildup of heat and moisture inside. PrimaLoft® BLACK Eco insulation, made from recycled polyester, helps maintain a comfortable temperature when conditions get colder, without adding bulk to the suit. The suit features a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish and a solution-dyed lining, designed for durability and to minimize environmental impact. Weighing 665 g, the suit remains suitable for active use while skiing and playing in the snow, all while providing a feeling of enveloping protection.

Adjustable comfort and freedom of movement for children

To adapt to children’s body shapes and follow their movements, the Helly Hansen RIDER 3.0 INS snowsuit features elastic shoulder straps and an adjustable waist. These elements allow you to adjust the fit of the garment and keep it secure during descents or when moving through the snow. The brushed knit inner collar feels soft against the skin, which is especially helpful when the suit is worn for several hours at a time. The adjustable, detachable hood offers extra protection around the head and can be removed as needed or preferred, making the suit suitable for various situations on the slopes or during outdoor excursions.

Durability, visibility, and traction for snow activities

The Helly Hansen RIDER 3.0 INS ski suit features reinforced knees and seat, a design engineered to better withstand repeated friction, falls, and play in the snow. The 360° reflective details improve the child’s visibility as light fades, such as at the end of the day or on overcast days. The gaiters with an elastic band under the foot help keep the bottom of the suit securely in place around the boots, minimizing snow ingress and stabilizing the suit while on the move. YKK VISLON® zippers round out the suit, providing reliable opening and closing, while bluesign® certification highlights the use of materials and processes that meet specific environmental and safety requirements.
