The Ritmo Light Pants in Winter Conditions

Weather-ready WindGuard technology structures the entire pant to provide consistent wind protection while maintaining a level of breathability suited to physical exertion. This type of construction is particularly well-suited for active outings where active thermal management takes precedence over passive insulation. The PFAS-free DWR treatment complements this system by ensuring effective water repellency against light precipitation, without resorting to perfluorinated compounds—which are now avoided in responsible textile production.

A cut designed for a full range of motion in the mountains

The double-weave polyamide fabric stretches in all four directions, allowing for a full range of motion during ascents on skins or technical sections. The adjustable elastic waistband with a drawcord allows you to fine-tune the fit without restricting abdominal breathing during exertion. Silicone grippers at the cuffs keep the pants securely in place over your boots, while zippered cuffs make it easy to pull the pants on over hard-shell ski boots.

Technical details designed for durability and ventilation

Cut-resistant and edge-protection reinforcements shield areas exposed to repeated contact with bindings and ski edges, thereby extending the pants’ lifespan under intensive use. Mesh panels on the outer pocket aid in temperature regulation by allowing targeted ventilation without the need for additional ventilation zippers.
