Designed for female skiers, the Helly Hansen ALPHELIA PUFFY Ski Jacket is ideal for women seeking reliable protection and technical comfort on the slopes. It combines alpine skiing functionality with a performance-oriented approach and a sleek design, making it ideal for regular outings in winter conditions. Its HELLY TECH® Professional technology and blown synthetic insulation provide waterproofing, breathability, and mobility, while maintaining warmth suitable for athletic activity. Functional details such as the LIFE POCKET+™ and the RECCO® reflector round out a design crafted for serious skiing.

Technical Performance and Protection for Skiing

The Helly Hansen ALPHELIA PUFFY Ski Jacket is built on HELLY TECH® Professional technology, designed to offer excellent waterproofing, good breathability, and effective protection against the elements in winter conditions. This technical system keeps you dry while wicking away internal moisture, helping to maintain your comfort during long days on the slopes. Primaloft® Black Eco insulation, complemented by blown synthetic insulation, ensures even warmth with a controlled weight, minimizing bulk while maintaining a level of thermal protection suitable for winter sports. Waterproof welded seams reinforce the barrier against snow and moisture, while the 4-way stretch fabric promotes freedom of movement during a series of turns or while riding the chairlift.

Comfort and Ski-Specific Features

Designed to support your skiing, the Helly Hansen ALPHELIA PUFFY Ski Jacket features an adjustable, helmet-compatible hood that provides extra protection against wind and precipitation while remaining compatible with safety gear. The adjustable snow skirt limits snow intrusion in the event of falls or deep powder, helping to maintain a protective layer around the torso. Underarm vents provide valuable temperature regulation during more intense activity, allowing excess heat to escape without compromising overall protection. The articulated sleeves, meanwhile, accommodate dynamic movements for a more natural range of motion, particularly when planting your feet for support and changing direction.

Organization, Safety, and Durability

The Helly Hansen ALPHELIA PUFFY Ski Jacket emphasizes practical organization with its multiple pockets featuring secure zippers, useful for keeping your lift pass, goggles, thin gloves, or small personal items within easy reach. The LIFE POCKET+™ is specifically designed to preserve your phone’s battery life in cold environments, which is a real advantage for staying reachable or using navigation apps in the mountains. The RECCO® reflector adds an extra layer of safety by making it easier for rescue teams equipped with the appropriate system to locate you. In terms of design, the shell—made of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane— the 100% polyester lining, and the 100% polyester insulation are part of an approach that includes a bluesign®-certified main fabric, as well as a durable water-repellent (DWR) treatment designed to enhance the outer shell’s resistance to moisture. Weighing 1,115 g, the jacket falls within a weight range suitable for regular ski use, without any major compromise between protection and portability, and it is eligible for the SKI FREE program, which ties it to a world of mountain and resort-oriented activities.

The Helly Hansen ALPHELIA PUFFY Women’s Ski Jacket is positioned as a technical ski jacket that combines HELLY TECH® Professional technology, Primaloft® Black Eco insulation, and features specifically designed for alpine skiing.
