A men's ski jacket designed for demanding slopes

The Helly Hansen ALPHA 4.0 men’s ski jacket is designed for skiers seeking technical protection for alpine skiing, backcountry skiing, and resort skiing. It combines HELLY TECH® Professional technology with Primaloft® Black Eco insulation to provide a balance between moisture protection and thermal retention. Its H2Flow™ ventilation system rounds out the package by offering more precise heat management during physical activity.

Technical protection designed for winter conditions

This men’s ski jacket features fully taped seams and a durable water-repellent (DWR) finish—two elements that enhance protection against moisture. HELLY TECH® Professional technology provides a membrane designed for waterproofing and breathability, offering tangible comfort benefits during mountain outings. Primaloft® Black Eco insulation adds a useful layer of warmth when temperatures drop, without compromising the technical performance required for skiing.

Thermal management tailored to on-piste exertion

The H2Flow™ ventilation system makes it easier to adjust airflow based on the intensity of your activity. This approach is ideal for both sustained descents and more relaxed moments at the resort, where you alternate between periods of exertion and breaks. The removable, helmet-compatible hood makes it ideal for alpine skiing, while the adjustable snow skirt prevents snow from entering the jacket.

Functional details designed for both on-piste and off-piste skiing

The Life Pocket™ is designed to preserve your phone’s battery life in cold weather, addressing a real-world need in the mountains. The jacket also features a ski pass pocket to keep your pass within easy reach, as well as thumb-loop cuffs to keep the sleeves in place during use. These features are integrated into a ski-oriented construction, with outer materials composed of 85% polyamide and 15% elastane, a lining of 86% polyester and 14% elastane, and 100% polyester insulation.

A Helly Hansen ALPHA 4.0 jacket designed with a technical approach

The Helly Hansen ALPHA 4.0 men’s ski jacket is bluesign® certified and contains Ocean Bound recycled materials—two features that enhance its technical specifications without detracting from its primary purpose: supporting the sport of skiing with targeted features and materials selected specifically for this use.
