Designed for unisex use, the ODLO ACTIVE X-WARM technical base layer is intended for winter sports enthusiasts who are active in sub-zero temperatures, whether skiing, hiking in cold conditions, or running in winter weather. Its close-fitting, body-hugging design and X-Warm temperature control system make it an ideal choice for moderate-intensity activities where thermal management is crucial.

The X-Warm System in the ACTIVE X-WARM: Targeted Warmth and Moisture Management

The technical core of this base layer is the X-Warm system, which features double-layer insulation in key areas of the body where the cold is felt most intensely in very low temperatures. This design concentrates warmth where it’s needed most, without adding bulk to the garment. At the same time, the fabric ensures rapid wicking of sweat and accelerated drying—two essential qualities during prolonged exertion in cold conditions, where residual moisture can quickly become uncomfortable. The material’s enhanced breathability and good stretch allow for freedom of movement suited to the technical motions of the sport.

Recycled and certified materials for responsible manufacturing

The ACTIVE X-WARM is made from 100% recycled polyester, with inserts composed of recycled polyester and spandex to maintain elasticity in high-movement areas. The garment is certified to STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which attests that every component has been tested for substances harmful to health. The brand also adheres to the Fair Wear Foundation’s commitments regarding working conditions throughout the supply chain.

Everyday comfort and odor control

The fabric’s soft feel contributes to comfort during extended wear, especially during full days on the slopes or in the mountains. The HeiQ Mint / ZeroScent technology integrated into the fabric provides active odor control, which is particularly useful during repeated physical exertion over several hours. These features make this base layer a versatile piece, suitable for both layered ski wear and winter hiking outfits.
