LIFA® MERINO Technology and ZQ Wool for Optimal Comfort

At the heart of the Helly Hansen K LIFA MERINO SET children’s technical set is LIFA® MERINO technology, which combines synthetic fibers and merino wool in a single fabric. This dual-fabric construction is designed to provide consistent moisture and heat management in the base layer, helping to ensure thermal comfort for active children. The blend of 57% merino wool and 43% polypropylene strikes a balance between insulation and lightweight performance, making it ideal for winter activities. The ZQ-certified wool reinforces the sustainable aspect of the material choice by ensuring that the wool supply chain is monitored in accordance with precise specifications.

Comfortable design for active kids

To accommodate children’s repetitive movements, this technical set features flatlock seams that minimize irritation against the skin. The round neck offers a roomy neckline that’s easy to wear under a second layer or a ski suit, while the elastic waistband ensures a secure fit around the waist without excessive compression. A discreet logo adds a touch of style without visually overwhelming the garment, maintaining a clean aesthetic suited for technical base layers. Thanks to these design choices, the Helly Hansen K LIFA MERINO SET for kids serves as a comfortable base layer for outdoor activities, combining technical performance with everyday comfort.

Care Instructions for Merino Wool to Preserve Performance

Caring for this children’s technical set requires following specific recommendations designed to preserve the quality of the merino wool and LIFA® MERINO technology. It is recommended to use a detergent specifically formulated for wool to protect the fibers and ensure the garment’s longevity. Wash inside out, without fabric softener and without wringing, which helps maintain the fabric’s shape and the integrity of the flat seams season after season. The main fabric is solution-dyed, ensuring long-lasting color—ideal for regular winter use. When cared for properly, the Helly Hansen K LIFA MERINO SET for kids retains its core thermal properties for young outdoor adventurers.
