Designed for winter activities regardless of gender, this low-rise thermal base layer is intended for skiers, hikers, and mountaineers seeking an effective technical base layer to protect against the cold. Its brushed inner fabric traps heat against the skin, while its ability to quickly wick away moisture ensures lasting comfort even during intense activity. A functional piece designed for demanding winter conditions.

The Elémenterre Thermal Base Layer: Insulation and Breathability in Winter Conditions

The fabric is composed of a blend of 95% polyester and 5% spandex, a combination that offers lightness, elasticity, and thermal management. The polyester ensures rapid wicking of moisture produced during exertion, thereby reducing the feeling of cold associated with perspiration. Spandex, meanwhile, offers flexibility that moves with you without restricting your movements. This technical fabric is also designed to dry quickly—a practical advantage during long days of activity in the mountains or on the slopes.

Thermal comfort designed for direct skin contact

The brushed interior is one of the distinctive features of this technical base layer. This finish creates a layer of warm air between the skin and the fabric, enhancing the feeling of warmth without adding bulk. Worn as a base layer under ski or hiking gear, it fully fulfills its role as a base layer, maintaining a stable body temperature regardless of the intensity of the activity.

A cut suited to all body types

The classic straight cut chosen for this model ensures it fits a wide range of body types, without feeling tight or being too bulky. This cut also makes it easy to layer with other technical garments, maintaining a functional silhouette under ski pants or hiking bottoms. Available in sizes S through XXL, it fits naturally into a complete winter outfit.
