The Energiapura PLASTIC SR A196 BLUE Shin Guard for competitive skiing

The design of this shell draws on the features of shin guards used in the World Cup, with an anatomical profile that conforms to the shape of the shin without restricting knee flexion. This attention to geometry helps maintain the freedom of movement essential in slalom or giant slalom, where every step counts. The plastic shell offers a balance between protective stiffness and lightness—two critical factors for gear worn during races.

An adjustable fastening system for a custom fit

The system of elastic straps, adjustable with Velcro, allows for precise adjustment of the protection, regardless of calf circumference. This fastening system also makes it easy to put on and take off between runs, without requiring any tools. The protector is available in two lengths, 40 cm and 43 cm, to accommodate different body types and ensure effective protection across the entire shin area.

Designed for competition conditions

The protector is CE-certified, Category I, and designed to function down to -20 °C, which corresponds to conditions encountered on high-altitude competition slopes. This certification attests to compliance with current safety requirements, though it does not guarantee absolute protection against all types of impact. The Blue colorway from the 2024 collection rounds out a line designed to meet the demands of daily competitive skiing.
