Designed for alpine skiers who compete in races, this unisex Energiapura shin guard meets the demands of slalom events, where repeated impacts with the gates place significant stress on the lower leg. The Energiapura PLASTIQUE SR A029 RED shin guard features a lightweight yet durable plastic construction, designed to minimize the risks associated with impacts on the course. Its shape is directly inspired by the carbon shin guards used in the World Cup, giving it a distinctly technical profile in an affordable version.

Shin guards designed for alpine skiing

When navigating slalom gates, the leg is exposed to violent and repeated impacts. The lightweight, durable plastic shell of this shin guard absorbs these impacts and reduces the risk of injury to the shin area, without adding bulk or restricting movement. The shell’s geometry mirrors the shape of the CDM carbon models proven in high-level competition, ensuring consistent coverage of the area to be protected. This protection is CE-certified, Category I, in accordance with current European standards for personal protective equipment.

Adjustable fit to stay in place during the race

The Energiapura PLASTIQUE SR A029 RED Shin Guard attaches to the leg via adjustable elastic straps with Velcro, allowing the fit to be customized to each skier’s body type and ensuring a stable hold throughout the run. This secure fastening system prevents the shell from shifting under the ski suit or racing socks, which is essential for the protection to remain effective at the moment of impact. The model is available in two sizes, 40 cm and 43 cm, to accommodate different body types.
