Designed for expert male skiers, the Dynastar Speed Master GS R22 SPX15 RED package falls into the category of competition skis directly inspired by World Cup giant slalom models. Its PEFC-certified beechwood core, combined with a full layer of Titanal, gives it powerful yet precise handling on the piste. The R22 plate is pre-mounted, and the SPX15 RED binding completes the package for immediate power transfer as soon as you edge the ski.

The Dynastar Speed Master GS R22 SPX15 RED: a geometry designed for race courses

The Rectangular Full Sidewall construction ensures direct power transfer between the boot and the ski, with no loss of energy during direction changes. The Full Camber profile enhances continuous contact with the snow across the entire running surface, promoting crisp turn initiation and clean turn exit. Available in three lengths—173, 179, and 183 cm, the ski features progressive turning radii—ranging from 17 meters at 173 cm to 21 meters at 183 cm—allowing the ski’s performance to be tailored to the skier’s build and riding style. The 115-70-98 mm sidecut on the shorter sizes maintains a balance between edge grip and fluidity through the gates.

A technical core for precise and durable support

The beech wood core, with a density of 710 g/m³, provides uniform stiffness along the entire length of the ski, minimizing deformation under high-speed loads. The full-length Titanal layer enhances stability in turns and dampens vibrations caused by uneven terrain. Fiberglass reinforcements complement the structure for better stress distribution. The high-density sintered base ensures smooth glide and facilitates repeated sharpening and waxing, which are essential in a competitive setting.

The SPX15 RED Binding: Integrated Power and Shock Absorption

The SPX15 RED binding, mounted on the R22 plate, offers a long elastic travel that combines instant power transfer with superior shock absorption when skiing over rough terrain. Compatible with ISO 5355 A ski boots with sole lengths between 264 and 352 mm, it accommodates a wide range of shoe sizes while maintaining a firm and consistent grip through every gate. The edge angles—0.75° on the base and 87° laterally—are calibrated for groomed slopes where precise edge grip is crucial.

The Dynastar Speed Master GS R22 SPX15 RED package offers a cohesive technical solution for expert skiers dedicated to on-piste racing.
