Designed for young beginner to intermediate skiers, the Völkl RACETIGER JR YELLOW + 7.0 VMOT Junior package offers an accessible introduction to alpine skiing. Its Full Cap construction and tip rocker make it easier to master those first turns, while the Marker vMotion 7.0 GripWalk bindings round out the package for an immediate, confident experience.

A junior ski designed for on-piste progress with the Völkl RACETIGER JR YELLOW + 7.0 VMOT Junior Pack

The Full Cap construction fully encases the synthetic PU composite core, making the ski lighter and more maneuverable for young hands and legs still learning. The tip rocker, combined with an 11.2-meter radius at the standard 130 size, makes it easier to initiate turns without requiring excessive effort. The ski’s geometry—with a 109 mm tip, 69 mm waist, and 88 mm tail—naturally guides the ski out of turns, helping young skiers find their footing on groomed snow.

Glide technology tailored for early carving

The Zebra Structure integrated into the P-Tex 2100 base promotes quick turn initiation and controlled glide on the piste. This practical feature results in a more responsive feel during direction changes, which reassures children who are still learning to control their edges. The P-Tex 2100 base also offers good durability in typical on-piste conditions, minimizing premature wear.

Marker vMotion 7.0 GripWalk bindings for broad compatibility

The Marker vMotion Junior 7.0 GripWalk bindings are compatible with junior alpine ski boots that meet the ISO 5355 standard. Their DIN adjustment range of 2.0 to 7.0 covers a wide range of body types and skill levels, allowing the release to be precisely adjusted to the child’s weight and skiing style. This adjustment is an important safety feature: a properly set DIN helps reduce the risk of injury in the event of a fall.

The Volkl RACETIGER JR YELLOW + 7.0 VMOT Junior Pack is available in sizes 130, 140, 150, and 160 cm, designed to support children’s progress over several seasons of on-piste skiing.
