A true reinterpretation of an iconic model from the Mountain Running® range, the Bushido III retains the DNA that made it so successful while refining its performance. Designed for skyraces and rugged terrain, it offers an excellent compromise between dynamism and support.

With a stack height of 30 mm at the heel and 24 mm at the forefoot, combined with a 6 mm drop, it promotes a natural and responsive stride. Its low-to-the-ground geometry enhances the feeling of control, which is essential when the terrain becomes unstable, rocky, or uneven.

La Sportiva Bushido III Men's Trail Running Shoes: Maximum Grip and Enhanced Stability

The performance of the Bushido III is largely based on its FriXion® Red dual-compound outsole. This technical rubber offers differentiated support zones to optimize grip on dry, wet, or mixed terrain. The redesigned 4 mm lugs ensure effective traction on both ascents and descents.

The compressed EVA midsole incorporates a Cushion Platform insert to improve shock absorption, while a Stability Control Insert and rock guard protect the foot from rough terrain. The result is a precise, stable and secure running feel, even at high intensity.

A snug and breathable fit

The breathable air mesh upper, combined with thermoplastic film reinforcements and an HF TPU midsole applied to ripstop panels, guarantees excellent support without sacrificing ventilation. The internal bootie construction wraps around the foot like a second skin, with no pressure points.

The abrasion-resistant mesh lining, made from recycled materials, contributes to the model's lasting comfort. The 4mm Ortholite® Hybrid Mountain Running® Ergonomic insole completes the package with extra cushioning and good moisture management.
