La Sportiva Prodigio 2 Men's Trail Running Shoes - Yellow/Black

Designed for long runs and ultra races, the Prodigio 2 offers a perfect balance between protection and dynamism. With a stack height of 34 mm at the heel and 28 mm at the forefoot, it provides generous cushioning while maintaining excellent ground feel. Its 6 mm drop promotes a natural and efficient stride, ideal for racking up the miles without compromising stability.

Versatile, it adapts equally well to rolling trails and more rugged terrain, guaranteeing a solid and reassuring base with every step.

XFlow™ cushioning: comfort and responsiveness with every stride

At the heart of the shoe's performance, nitrogen-injected XFlow™ foam, integrated into the midsole and insole, delivers cushioning that is both flexible and dynamic. The result is excellent energy return that helps you maintain your pace, even when fatigue starts to set in.

The 4mm XFlow insole, made from 100% recycled supercritical foam, reinforces this feeling of bounce while helping to reduce impact over long distances. The combination offers lasting comfort, mile after mile.

The Prodigio 2: a shoe that promises grip and durability on technical terrain

When the terrain gets tough, the Prodigio 2 rises to the challenge. Its dual-density FriXion® Red outsole combines wear resistance and targeted grip. The heel areas, which are subject to greater stress, feature a reinforced compound to extend the life of the shoe, while the midfoot and forefoot prioritize grip to ensure secure takeoffs and descents.

Its 4mm lugs provide effective traction on a wide variety of surfaces, from dry trails to rocky sections and looser terrain.

Beyond pure performance, the Prodigio 2 focuses on a precise, snug fit. Its high-tenacity 3D mesh upper promotes breathability and keeps your feet cool, even on the most demanding climbs. The ergonomic wrap system stabilizes the foot and limits unwanted movement for greater safety on technical terrain.

In line with a more responsible approach, several elements incorporate recycled materials. You benefit from a more sustainable design thanks to:
