The Dancer 2 is designed with a poplar core, a wood that is lightweight, durable, and capable of effectively absorbing vibrations. Two ultra-thin layers of Titanal reinforce this wood core, ensuring increased responsiveness and optimal stability even at high speeds. This material, renowned for its robustness, improves edge grip and offers smooth handling through changing snow conditions and uneven terrain.

Versatility and control on all terrains

With a 96 mm waist, the Faction Dancer 2 offers excellent maneuverability on both groomed slopes and powder snow. Its elliptical profile combines a long radius underfoot for quick transitions and shorter radii at the tips and tails for easier turn initiation. The result is a smooth and intuitive ride, ideal for skiers who like to mix things up.

Faction has equipped the Dancer 2 with 2.5 mm XL edges, larger than the market average, ensuring increased durability against impact and wear. In addition, the sidewalls play a key role in providing enhanced stability and effective protection for the core and topsheet.

Strive 11 bindings

This pack includes Strive 11 bindings, renowned for their lightness and precision. They offer excellent energy transfer for increased control and reliable release in the event of a fall. Ideal for complementing the performance of the Dancer 2, they ensure a smooth and safe skiing experience.

CLASSIC

The Classic position emphasizes precision and power in turns. Ideal for skiers who like to load the front of their boots and skis, it promotes firm support and maximum grip. The Classic mounting also improves floatation in deep snow, thanks to a longer tip than on our other configurations.

Ideal for: traditional skiers, former competitors, and lovers of wide open spaces.

PROGRESSIVE

The Progressive position, recommended for the Prodigy, Dancer, La Machine, and Agent ranges, offers the best balance between stability and agility. It allows for precise carving while maintaining excellent maneuverability. If you're looking for a versatile setup or are unsure about where to place your bindings, this is the safest choice.

Ideal for: all-terrain skiers who mix freeride and freestyle.

NEWSCHOOL

Designed for fun and creative skiing, the Newschool position emphasizes maneuverability and playfulness. Placed more in the center of the ski, it facilitates butters, rotations, and tricks, while offering a more neutral and balanced feel. This is the recommended setup for the Mana series.
