TheALP TRAINER 2 from Salewa is an evolutionary mid-high hiking boot with a high-quality, durable suede and stretch upper, and a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort lining for effective protection when hiking on varied terrain and in diverse weather conditions. It features a generous rubber rock guard on the front for added protection against rocks and scree.

Designed to provide comfort from the very first steps, it offers a precise wrap-around fit and good support. The patented 3F System, with a steel cable, guarantees firm ankle support and good lateral stability, while the Flex Collar increases rear range of motion and ankle comfort on descents. What's more, the customizable SALEWA® Multi Fit Footbed Plus (MFF+) insole features interchangeable overlays for even greater volume. Mountaineering laces allow exact adjustment right down to the toe for greater precision on technical terrain.

Underfoot, the improved Vibram® Alpine Hiking sole, developed exclusively by SALEWA®, offers excellent performance and greater control on a wide range of mountainous terrain, even in wet weather and mud, thanks to its dedicated climbing, traction and braking zones and solid crampons.
