The AEQUILIBRIUM ST GTX from La Sportiva represents a new generation of lightweight technical hiking boots, designed for demanding hikers navigating varied alpine terrain. Ideal for via ferratas, challenging treks, glacier crossings, and mixed terrain, they offer a perfect balance of lightness, protection, and precision.
Exceptional comfort and support in the mountains
This shoe ensures optimal walking comfort thanks to an integrated gusseted tongue that limits water ingress and improves foot wrapping. The flexible snow gaiter at the collar effectively protects against the elements while maintaining excellent freedom of movement. The precise, ergonomic shape, combined with TPU reinforcements at the front and rear, ensures reliable and secure support on all technical terrain.
Advanced technology for performance on the descent and ascent
The innovative Double Heel™ system significantly improves downhill efficiency thanks to a dual-heel geometry that increases braking power, thereby reducing muscle fatigue. On the ascent, it promotes a smoother foot roll for a more natural and energy-efficient stride. The 3D Flex System Evo™ optimizes ankle mobility while ensuring precise control of foot placement.
Technical sole and maximum traction
The Vibram® SpringLug Tech outsole, combined with the Impact Brake System™, offers exceptional grip on rocks, dry terrain, or mixed surfaces. The semi-crampon-compatible midsole allows for use with semi-automatic crampons, making this shoe perfectly suited for glacial environments and winter conditions.
Robust, lightweight, and durable construction
The high-strength HoneyComb Guard™ nylon upper ensures excellent durability while keeping weight down. The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane guarantees total waterproofing while maintaining optimal breathability. The internal structure combines lightweight foam and minimalist rubber thanks to the Rubber Guard™ system, optimizing cushioning without adding weight to the shoe.
