A rugged design built for the terrain
The upper of this shoe is made from recycled ripstop mesh, a material that is both durable and breathable, effectively wicking away moisture during activity. This upper is reinforced with a full-length rock guard and a rubber overlay that provide effective protection against impacts, rocks, and roots encountered in the mountains.
The collar with an integrated gaiter prevents debris such as gravel or dirt from entering, ensuring optimal comfort even on unstable terrain. Support is further enhanced by a TPU heel counter that effectively stabilizes the foot on technical sections.
GORE-TEX Waterproofing and Breathability
The shoe features a GORE-TEX ePE Extended Comfort membrane, ensuring total waterproofing while maintaining excellent breathability. This keeps you dry in all weather conditions, while providing thermal comfort suitable for prolonged exertion.
Cushioning, comfort, and long-lasting support
The midsole combines a flexible structure with a reinforced heel area to offer a perfect balance between comfort and stability. The compact EVA foam in the heel further enhances cushioning and stability with every step.

The FriXion® White compound outsole provides outstanding grip on dry, mixed, or technical terrain. Combined with Impact Brake System™ technology, it improves traction on ascents, stabilizes descents, and effectively absorbs shocks.
The flex grooves on the sole promote natural foot mobility, offering a smooth stride even on uneven terrain. With an 8 mm drop, a sole height of 27 mm at the forefoot and 35 mm at the heel, the shoe strikes a good balance between responsiveness and protection.

Weighing just 400 g (half a pair in size 42), the Ultra Raptor 3 GTX remains surprisingly lightweight given its level of protection. It is available in sizes 40 to 50.5 and features a wide fit for enhanced comfort over long distances.
