La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Leather Wide GTX Hiking Boots
Designed for mountain enthusiasts looking for a reliable, sturdy, and comfortable boot, the La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Leather Wide GTX captures all the DNA of the iconic Ultra Raptor model in an even more durable leather version. Designed for long hikes, technical terrain, and all-terrain adventures, they offer excellent stability and lasting comfort, even after several hours of walking.
Optimal protection for all your outings
Thanks to their GORE-TEX® Extended Comfort membrane, these hiking boots guarantee durable waterproof protection while ensuring excellent breathability. External moisture stays out while sweat is effectively wicked away, helping to maintain a comfortable climate inside the boot, even during sustained exertion or in warmer temperatures.
The single-layer nubuck upper offers an excellent balance of durability, support, and comfort. Abrasion-resistant, it handles rugged terrain, scree, and muddy sections with ease. Integrated compression lines ensure a precise fit around the foot and enhance stability on technical trails.
Long-distance comfort and enhanced support
The flexible and protective Comfort Collar limits the intrusion of stones and mud while improving comfort around the ankle. The easy-fit spoiler system makes it easy to put on the shoe and guarantees a comfortable fit from the very first steps. This Wide Fit version is specially designed for hikers with wide feet, offering more space and comfort over long distances.
The Memlex EVA midsole with shock-absorbing injection effectively absorbs impact and improves walking comfort. With a 27 mm heel stack, 16 mm forefoot stack, and an 11 mm drop, the shoe offers an excellent balance between cushioning, stability, and responsiveness.
Grip and stability on all terrains
The Ultra Raptor II Leather GTX features the renowned FriXion® Blue outsole, developed by La Sportiva to offer an ideal balance between grip and durability. The 6 mm lugs ensure excellent traction on varied terrain, while the pronounced Trail Bite Heel significantly improves braking on descents.
The exclusive Impact Brake System™ optimizes shock absorption upon ground contact and increases grip both on ascents and descents. The specific placement of the lugs allows for better contact with the terrain to reduce negative impacts and improve control on technical sections. The rear stabilizing heel counter, meanwhile, ensures precise support during traverses and aggressive foot placements.
Durable, comfortable, and perfectly suited for long mountain hikes, the La Sportiva Ultra Raptor II Leather Wide GTX is designed for demanding hikers seeking a boot capable of tackling all terrains with efficiency and comfort.
