Ideal for moving quickly on all types of trails, even the most technical ones, they provide excellent traction and lasting comfort in all weather conditions.

A shoe designed for performance on challenging terrain

Thanks to its innovative construction, the AKYRA II GTX guarantees optimal foot support on technical and uneven terrain. 3D Grid™ technology in KPU reinforces the upper while providing stability and protection without adding weight to the shoe. Its 3-layer design also improves comfort and breathability to keep your feet dry and comfortable during your hike.

The PFC-free GORE-TEX Extended Comfort membrane provides durable waterproof protection while optimizing moisture wicking. Water stays out while internal moisture escapes easily, ensuring excellent climate comfort even during intense activities or in milder temperatures. Its uninsulated design also allows for better heat dissipation.

Grip, stability, and natural roll

The Dual Compound FriXion XT Red outsole was developed to offer an excellent balance between grip, traction, and durability. La Sportiva’s FriXion® rubber compounds are specially designed to adapt to the demands of mountain terrain and ensure reliable grip on varied surfaces.

The exclusive Impact Brake System™ improves traction on ascents while enhancing control on descents. Thanks to the specific arrangement of the lugs, impact with the ground is better absorbed to reduce fatigue and increase stability with every stride.
