Their athletic cut and elastic waistband provide a snug fit, ideal for active outdoor excursions.

Comfortable women’s hiking pants for cold weather

Designed for winter activities, the Andromeda 2 Women’s Pants feature a brushed interior that provides appreciable thermal insulation when temperatures drop. This interior finish feels soft against the skin while helping to retain body heat during exertion. With their athletic cut, these hiking pants naturally follow your movements, preventing unnecessary bunching that can get in the way during ascents or when changing pace. The elastic waistband provides support without excessive compression, for active days where comfort remains a priority.

A technical stretch fabric for active winter hiking

The main stretch jersey fabric, composed of 83% polyamide and 17% elastane, ensures good freedom of movement, essential for hiking on varied terrain. This fabric features a plant-based, PFC-free DWR water-repellent treatment that helps shed light moisture and keeps the fabric drier on the surface. Its breathability allows moisture produced during exertion to escape, reducing the feeling of dampness under the gear. The pants also feature a secondary fabric made of 80% polyester and 20% elastane, as well as 100% polyester pocket linings, to balance comfort, support, and breathability in key areas.

Protection and practicality for outdoor activities

The Montura ANDROMEDA 2 PANTS WOMAN offer excellent UV protection, a valuable feature for winter outings where exposure can be heightened by reflection. This protection limits the impact of the sun’s rays on covered areas, adding a layer of safety to thermal comfort. The zippered hand pockets provide convenient storage for small items that need to stay accessible and secure while walking. Weighing just 250 g, these pants are lightweight to wear and carry, making them ideal for hikers who prefer technical yet compact gear.
