Designed for women who enjoy ski touring, the AMBER Ski Touring Pants are your perfect companion for winter outings, featuring a technical design focused on mobility and protection. Their PREMIUM-SHELL 10,000 Fleece softshell fabric prioritizes breathability and waterproofing to keep up with your effort on both ascents and descents. Thanks to its 4-way stretch fabric and side vents, these pants adapt to changes in intensity and terrain. They’re also ideal for winter hiking and trekking, offering versatile outdoor use.
Waterproof and breathable protection for ski touring
The AMBER Ski Touring Pants feature waterproofing exceeding 10,000 mm to minimize water penetration from snow and wet mountain conditions. This protection is complemented by breathability exceeding 10,000 g/m²/24h, which facilitates the release of water vapor during exertion and helps maintain your thermal comfort. The PREMIUM-SHELL 10,000 Fleece fabric was developed to provide this balance between protection and temperature regulation, which is particularly important in ski touring where there are frequent alternations between active phases and rest periods. The BIO-Durable organic water-repellent treatment enhances the fabric’s ability to shed moisture to the surface, which helps keep the pants dry longer during repeated contact with snow.
4-way stretch softshell fabric for freedom of movement
Made from 92% polyester and 8% spandex, the AMBER ski touring pants feature a 4-way stretch softshell fabric that moves freely with technical movements without restriction. This multidirectional stretch is particularly useful when changing gear, climbing steep slopes, or during forceful push-offs on descents, allowing your legs to move through their full range of motion. The fleece lining of the PREMIUM-SHELL 10,000 provides a softer feel against the skin, ensuring long-lasting comfort. During winter hiking and trekking, this combination of flexibility and support ensures a smooth, fluid feel, even on long days when repetitive movements can become tiring.
Ventilation and adjustable leg cuffs for precise effort management
The side vents built into the AMBER ski touring pants offer a simple way to regulate the flow of fresh air during strenuous ascents. By opening these zippers, you can adjust airflow around the thighs, which helps prevent overheating and better manage perspiration during periods of intense exertion. The adjustable lower leg with a zipper and internal hook, meanwhile, provides a practical fit with your ski touring or mountaineering boots. This system secures the bottom of the pants around the boot shaft, preventing snow from entering and stabilizing the fabric’s position—which helps maintain a consistent fit throughout your outing.
The AMBER ski touring pants by REDELK are technical softshell pants for women, designed for ski touring but also suitable for hiking and trekking in winter conditions.
