The Race Fit isn’t just about fit: its pronounced pre-curvature positions the hand in a natural grip position, reducing fatigue on long descents. The palm combines premium goatskin leather and polyurethane—two materials chosen for their durability and precise feel. Reinforced silicone grip pads complement this contact surface, enhancing grip on the pole even in challenging conditions. The softshell outer shell contributes to the mitten’s overall flexibility, allowing hands to move freely.

Protection Against Cold and Moisture

The SOFT-TEX® membrane, made of thermoplastic polyurethane, provides reliable waterproofing and wind protection, forming a barrier against the elements. The insulation combines Thinsulate™ on the palm side and Hyperloft on the back of the hand—two materials known for their ability to retain heat without adding bulk. Flexible ceramic reinforcements, placed on the fingers and the back of the hand, offer high abrasion resistance while maintaining the flexibility needed for technical running movements.
