Designed for young skiers competing in alpine racing, the LEKI WCR CORE TR MITT junior mittens meet the demands of slalom training and racing. Their construction combines a waterproof and breathable membrane with dual-zone insulation to keep hands warm without sacrificing mobility. The ceramic shell and EVA reinforcements make these mittens built to withstand repeated contact with gate posts.

Protection and insulation for junior competitive skiing

The SOFT-TEX® membrane, made of thermoplastic polyurethane, ensures complete waterproofing while wicking moisture away thanks to its breathable properties. The integrated windproof layer reinforces this barrier against the winter conditions encountered on slalom or giant slalom courses. The insulation combines Hyperloft on the back of the hand and Thinsulate™ in the palm—two materials that retain body heat in specific areas based on where the hands are exposed. The Micro Bemberg lining completes the design, providing a comfortable feel against the skin.

A WCR CORE TR MITT designed to withstand contact with the gates

The ceramic-reinforced EVA padding absorbs shocks and improves abrasion resistance during repeated passes through the gates. The main shell, also made of ceramic on a polyester base, protects the back of the hand without adding bulk. The Junior Race Fit ensures a precise fit tailored to the body shape of young competitors, while the Flex Cuff adapts to wrist movement without restricting technical motion.

Optimized Grip and Pole Connection

The premium-quality goatskin leather palm, combined with silicone-reinforced grip zones, ensures a reliable grip on the pole in all conditions. The Trigger system establishes a direct connection between the hand and the pole, contributing to better control of pole plant during the race. The integrated finger channels help wick away residual moisture, maintaining consistent comfort throughout your workout.
