The Grand Tour du Pic du Midi d'Ossau is a hike that includes a stop at the Refuge d'Ayous, where you will be welcomed into a sublime setting. The trail begins on the GR®10, climbing steeply before reaching the Ayous lakes and finally leaving the GR®10 to head for the Refuge d'Ayous. The path then climbs south towards the Pic de Larry, passing at the foot of Lac Bersau and Pic Hourquette, then between the Pics de Bielle and Casterau. After skirting Lac de Casterau, you'll pass the cabanes de la Hosse and cross the Gave de bious to climb towards the cabanes de Cap de Pount and Peyrget. Passing Lac de Peyreget, the route finally reaches the col de Peyreget and then descends to the refuge de Pombie.
