The Barryvox® 2 avalanche transceiver: reliability and assisted search

At the heart of this pack, the Barryvox® 2 avalanche transceiver stands out for its intuitive operation and precision during search phases. Compact and reassuring, it is ideal for both beginners and experienced skiers who want an effective device without complex settings. Its clear interface allows for quick decision-making, a major advantage when every second counts during an avalanche rescue.

Organization designed for rapid response

To ensure a smooth and structured response, Mammut has included additional tools in this kit that are perfectly suited to rescue operations. The set facilitates efficient searching, probing, and shoveling, even with gloves on:

• A compact and robust Alugator Peak shovel, equipped with a small blade that is effective for rescue phases
• A coherent and balanced set, designed to be easily transported and remain accessible in your hiking or freeride bag

This complementary set ensures better coordination in emergency situations.
