The XO V7 PINK WHITE DOTS is a high-performance alpine ski designed for experienced skiers seeking precision, responsiveness, and stability on groomed runs. With a waist width of 77 mm, it is geared toward carving, capable of carving sharp, aggressive turns while maintaining a certain level of versatility in varying snow conditions. Its profile, which combines a tip rocker with classic camber, gives it a response that’s both lively at the start of the turn and stable during the weight-transfer phase. This ski is intended for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to improve their skills or showcase their technique on the piste without sacrificing comfort.

A piste ski designed for dynamic carving

The XO V7 PINK WHITE DOTS is designed primarily for on-piste skiing, where precision in line choice and the ski’s responsiveness make all the difference. With a 14-meter radius on the standard 166 cm length, it produces short to medium turns, ideal for a rhythmic and engaged skiing style on blue to black runs. This radius promotes quick edge engagement and precise feedback underfoot, allowing experienced skiers to play with their angle of attack and link turns together without excessive effort. The tip/waist/tail dimensions of 126/77/107 mm create a balanced geometry, with a tail wide enough to ensure stability when exiting turns.

Sandwich construction and wood core: lightweight and responsive

The V7’s sandwich construction features a wood core extending from tip to tail, combined with two layers of fiberglass. This choice of materials results in a ski that is both lightweight—weighing 2,860 g for the standard 166 cm length—and responsive enough to faithfully convey the skier’s intentions. The fiberglass wraps around the core to provide responsiveness and dampen vibrations on groomed snow. Handcrafted in Europe using Swiss engineering, this ski features a high-density base that ensures smooth glide and long-lasting durability. Its flex, which is slightly softer than that of the most demanding models in the line, makes it accessible to developing skiers while remaining challenging for advanced skiers.

Front rocker and classic camber: grip and versatility

The combination of a tip rocker and classic camber underfoot defines the XO V7 PINK WHITE DOTS’ performance on the snow. The tip rocker makes it easier to initiate turns by reducing the contact surface at the start of the turn, making the ski more maneuverable and intuitive, especially on cold or slightly groomed snow. The camber underfoot, meanwhile, ensures solid grip on hard snow and energy return when exiting turns—an essential characteristic for a high-performance alpine piste ski. This hybrid profile thus offers significant versatility in the face of the varying conditions encountered throughout a day on the slopes.

Available in 154- and 160-cm lengths in addition to the standard size, the XO V7 PINK WHITE DOTS is suitable for a wide range of body types among advanced skiers. It is primarily designed for skiers who regularly ski on groomed runs and want a precise, dynamic, and enjoyable ski to ride, without seeking the stiffness of pure competition skis.
