Vola SENTINEL WARRIOR MIPS Helmet

The Vola Sentinel Warrior MIPS Ski Helmet: Technical Precision and Certified Protection

Designed in Italy with a distinct racing spirit, the Vola Sentinel Warrior MIPS is aimed at alpine skiers and snowboarders seeking a helmet that combines durability with advanced protection technology. Its ABS shell construction, combined with the MIPS system, provides a design engineered to absorb impacts on the slopes. Unisex and available in two sizes, it’s equally suited for regular use and high-intensity sessions. The Vola Sentinel Warrior MIPS helmet embodies an uncompromising technical approach, backed by recognized European certification.

Certified Protection and MIPS Technology

The Sentinel Warrior MIPS meets the CE EN 1077:2007 Class B standard, a European certification that attests to a validated level of protection for alpine skiing and snowboarding. It also meets the American ASTM 2040 standard, demonstrating technical compliance with two distinct sets of standards. At the heart of its design, the MIPS® (Multi-directional Impact Protection System) is what sets this helmet apart: this internal sliding layer is designed to reduce the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an oblique impact—a common scenario in the event of a fall on the slopes. This feature complements a multi-layer shock-absorption system integrated into the structure, ensuring that impact energy is dispersed across multiple levels.

ABS Construction and Targeted Reinforcement Zones

The shell of the Sentinel Warrior MIPS is made of ABS, a thermoplastic material known for its impact resistance and long-term durability. This hardshell construction provides structural rigidity suited to demanding riding conditions. The helmet’s ear flaps feature specific reinforcements, providing additional protection for anatomically exposed areas. Chin strap inserts are also integrated, a feature that reflects a design geared toward the most technical uses.

Comfort and Versatility for Everyday Use

To complement its technical performance, the Vola Sentinel Warrior MIPS helmet features comfortable interior padding and removable ear pads, allowing you to adjust the helmet to the day’s temperature conditions. This modular design also makes it easier to maintain the interior foam padding. The unisex design and two available size ranges—55–58 cm and 59–61 cm—allow the helmet to fit a wide variety of head shapes, which is essential for ensuring a stable fit and extended wear without discomfort.

Designed for on-piste snow sports with technical ambitions, the Vola Sentinel Warrior MIPS is ideal for skiers and snowboarders who want to combine certified protection with a solid, proven construction. Its Italian design, multi-layer construction, and MIPS system make it a logical choice for those who ski or snowboard regularly and won’t compromise on the quality of their head protection.
