The Cairn ELECTRON Visor J Fuschia ski helmet is designed to accompany children and teens on the slopes, combining protection, visibility, and ease of use for everyday wear. Its integrated panoramic visor makes it a complete piece of gear, ready to use right out of the bag. Weighing just 450 g, it’s lightweight enough not to strain young skiers’ necks during long days on the mountain. Available in sizes 51–53 and 54–55, it fits a variety of children’s head shapes.
The Cairn ELECTRON Visor J Fuschia features an In-Mold construction, which involves fusing a polycarbonate shell with EPS foam during the molding process. This process ensures uniform strength throughout the helmet and effective shock absorption, while keeping the overall weight of the helmet down. It is PPE Category 2 certified, confirming that it meets current regulatory requirements for personal protective equipment intended for skiing. This certification serves as a concrete benchmark for parents who want to ensure their children’s equipment complies with safety standards.
One of the distinctive features of this ski helmet is its integrated Category 3 panoramic visor, designed for sunny conditions. It features an anti-fog coating and 100% UV protection, which prevents dazzling reflections off the snow and protects young skiers’ vision over time. Its panoramic field of view improves awareness of the surroundings on the slopes. Adjustable ventilation allows you to tailor airflow to the intensity of your activity and the outside temperature, thereby limiting overheating during dynamic descents.
The helmet shell is adjusted via the Wheel Fit System, an occipital dial that allows for fine-tuning the helmet’s fit without removing gloves. This system ensures a stable fit on the head, reducing unwanted movement of the helmet while skiing. The full fleece inner lining is removable and washable, making it easy to clean after each use and ensuring long-term hygienic comfort.
The Cairn ELECTRON Visor J Fuschia is designed for young skiers who ride on groomed slopes in a variety of conditions, particularly in good weather. Its integrated visor, meticulous construction, and easy-to-access adjustments make it a reliable choice for a full season on the slopes.
