The S/LAB M basket and tungsten tip provide reliable grip in various snow conditions.
The Salomon BATOTU R 30 CLICK ski poles are designed for unisex users who practice cross-country skiing at an intermediate to advanced level and are looking for lightweight, precise poles. Their 30% carbon and composite shaft offers a good balance between stiffness and control on the trail. The Ergoclick grip and Powerstrap Click 2 wrist strap ensure optimized power transfer, with one-handed pole release to keep your hands free. Finally, the S/LAB M basket and tungsten tip provide reliable support in all snow conditions.
Designed for cross-country skiing on groomed trails, the Salomon BATOTU R 30 CLICK ski poles are intended for intermediate to advanced skiers who want to optimize every movement. The Powerstrap Click 2 wrist strap offers a precise fit around the hand, which improves power transfer between the arm and the shaft with every push. Combined with the Ergoclick grip, it allows for one-step attachment and release, while maintaining a secure hold when you’re on the move. This combination enhances the feeling of control and efficiency, which is particularly appreciated during long cross-country skiing sessions.
The shaft of the Salomon BATOTU R 30 CLICK ski poles is made of carbon (30%) and composite, which contributes to both the pole’s lightness and stiffness. With a diameter of 16 mm at the top and 9 mm at the bottom, this 16/9 profile helps improve the pole’s stability during the planting phase and the forward push-off. The stiffness, described as “rigid,” limits deformation upon impact, providing a crisper response with each push-off. This performance allows for fluid movement while benefiting from a pole light enough to support endurance outings, especially since it weighs 260 g per pair—which is still moderate for a Nordic ski pole.
For regular use in Nordic skiing, grip and support in the snow are essential. The Salomon BATOTU R 30 CLICK ski poles feature an S/LAB M basket—a medium-sized basket designed to provide good support in various snow conditions without adding unnecessary weight to the pole. The extremely hard tungsten tip ensures good grip in all conditions and long-term wear resistance. This basket-and-tip combination helps maintain stable support, whether the snow is hard, packed, or softer, while preserving the precision of pole placement needed by intermediate to advanced skiers.
To complement their functional aspects, several technical features define the performance of these unisex Nordic ski poles.
The Salomon BATOTU R 30 CLICK ski poles are thus a unisex solution designed for Nordic-style on-piste skiing, combining a 30% carbon shaft, an Ergoclick grip, and a Powerstrap Click 2 wrist strap for precise power transfer and effective support in the snow.
