The Leki WCR PRO GS TR is an alpine ski pole designed specifically for giant slalom competition. Made from HTS 6.5 aluminum, it combines structural rigidity with resistance to the repeated mechanical stresses inherent in racing. Its Airfoil tube profile, inspired by the shape of an airplane wing, reduces air resistance and promotes a smooth, fluid swing at high speeds. LEKI designed this model for skiers seeking direct power transfer and precise control of their pole plant in competition.

Performance-oriented construction: stiffness and aerodynamics

The LEKI WCR PRO GS TR features a fixed-length, single-section, single-tube construction, which eliminates any mechanical play and ensures loss-free energy transfer from the hand to the snow. The 18-mm-diameter HTS 6.5 aluminum tube offers high stiffness suited to the demands of racing, while maintaining a low weight of approximately 283 g for a length of 120 cm. The Ultrasonic finish rounds out the design. The carbide Flex Tip ensures a firm grip on the hard, icy surfaces commonly encountered in competition.

Grip and Trigger 3D Log In System

The ProG grip incorporates the Trigger 3D system, which establishes a direct and secure connection between the hand and the pole. This system allows for quick attachment and release and includes a safety release feature in the event of a fall, reducing the risk of strain on the wrist. The Trigger Frame Strap complements this system by keeping the hand in a stable position throughout the technical movement, without limiting the mobility needed for edge engagement.

Basket and Available Options

The pole is equipped with a Downhill basket, designed for groomed trails and competition terrain where precise support takes precedence over floatation. The Leki WCR PRO GS TR is available in three lengths—120, 125, and 130 cm—to accommodate competitors of different sizes. The Bright Red-Violet-Neon Yellow color scheme ensures high visibility on the course.
