Pack of Faction STUDIO 4 skis + bindings
The Faction Studio 4 is the latest version of the iconic ski, combining tradition and innovation. Designed for skiers seeking exceptional performance and enjoyment on all types of terrain, it stands out thanks to its high-end manufacturing in Austria, powered entirely by renewable energy.
Technical features:
- Poplar core: Offers the perfect balance between lightness and strength, ensuring flexibility and vibration absorption, ideal for popping and buttering.
- Lightweight and stable construction: Features 8 to 12 unidirectional carbon strips integrated into the fiberglass, increasing stability without adding weight to the ski.
- Carbon/rubber pad: A 600 mm x 15 mm inlay reinforces strength underfoot and improves vibration dampening during landings.
- XL Full Strength Edges: 25% wider than the industry average, ensuring superior edge hold and durability.
- Elliptical sidecut: Long radius underfoot for quick pivots and short radius at the tip and tail for effortless turn initiation.
- Micro Cap Anti-Chipping: Protects tips and tails from wear and tear, extending the life of the ski.
- Boat Flex: Stiff tip and tail combined with a softer mid-section for high-speed stability and maximum pop in aerial maneuvers.
- Progressive twin shape: Slightly thinner tail and wider tip for optimal downhill performance, while allowing for easy switch skiing.
Faction is committed to reducing its environmental impact. The skis are manufactured in a modern factory using sustainable practices, including recycling materials and sourcing locally to minimize carbon emissions. The Faction Studio 4 is the perfect choice for demanding skiers looking for a blend of performance, durability, and fun. Ideal for powder and park skiing, this ski will amaze you with every run.
Tips for choosing the position of your bindings:
CLASSIC
The Classic position emphasizes precision and power in turns. Ideal for skiers who like to load the front of their boots and skis, it promotes a firm stance and maximum grip. The Classic mounting also improves floatation in deep snow, thanks to a longer tip than on our other configurations.
Ideal for: traditional skiers, former competitors, and lovers of wide open spaces.
PROGRESSIVE
The Progressive position, recommended for the Prodigy, Dancer, La Machine, and Agent ranges, offers the best balance between stability and agility. It allows for precise carving while maintaining excellent maneuverability. If you're looking for a versatile setup or are unsure about where to place your bindings, this is the safest choice.
Ideal for: all-terrain skiers who mix freeride and freestyle.
NEWSCHOOL
Designed for fun and creative skiing, the Newschool position emphasizes maneuverability and playfulness. Placed more in the center of the ski, it facilitates butters, rotations, and tricks, while offering a more neutral and balanced feel. This is the recommended setup for the Mana series.
Ideal for: freestylers, centered skiers, and those seeking maximum freedom of movement.
