The REDSTER S7 RVSK L + MI 12 GW R unisex ski set is designed for advanced skiers looking for a slalom-oriented alpine ski set, engineered for fast, precise turns on the piste. Designed for competitive winter sports, it combines a robust technical construction with a geometry optimized for grip and stability on hard snow. This gives you a cohesive set, with skis and bindings that are compatible for intermediate to advanced use.

A REDSTER S7 RVSK L + MI 12 GW R ski set for on-piste slalom

This alpine ski set is designed as a slalom model geared toward fast, precise turns on the piste, with a 13-meter turning radius in the standard 162-cm length. The sidecut of 111.5–69–99.5 mm (size 162) facilitates a series of tight turns while ensuring good grip on groomed snow. The product is designed for intermediate to advanced skiers, consistent with the indicated “confirmed” skill level, making it a suitable option for demanding on-piste skiing. Its unisex design and the different sizes available—162 and 169 cm—allow it to be adapted to a variety of body types, always with a focus on aggressive on-piste skiing.

A Dura Cap Sidewall construction for durability and power transfer

The Dura Cap Sidewall construction is at the heart of this REDSTER S7 RVSK L + MI 12 GW R ski set, featuring sidewalls that extend from the base all the way up to the topsheet. This design aims to improve durability by minimizing impacts on the sidewalls and topsheet, while also contributing to efficient power transfer to the edges. The Structured Topsheet provides a refined finish, designed to withstand regular use during the winter season. Together, these elements form a structure built to withstand the stresses of on-piste slalom skiing, while maintaining consistent response when edging.

Power WoodCore and TI Powered reinforcement for stability and shock absorption

The Power WoodCore, made of ash and poplar, combines the stiffness of ash with the lightness of poplar for enhanced stability and a sporty feel. This core is complemented by a TI Powered reinforcement made of Titanal, designed for shock absorption and torsional stiffness, which helps maintain the ski’s grip during sharp turns. The stated weight of 2,548 g per ski (size 163 cm, technical reference value) and a total weight of 4,974 g for the pair demonstrate a construction robust enough for advanced use without being excessively heavy. This combination of wood and metal materials offers a balance focused on stability in turns and reduced vibration.

Active Camber and edge angles for grip on hard snow

The 0/100/0 Active Camber design keeps the entire effective length of the ski in contact with the snow, providing better grip on hard snow and precise handling. The side edge angle of 87° and base angle of 0.8° are specifically engineered for intuitive maneuverability and easy turns, while maintaining excellent grip. Combined with a World Cup-spec base finish, these technical features are designed to optimize glide and ensure predictable behavior during edge engagement. This combination of angles and base finish aligns with the pack’s slalom focus, prioritizing precision on the piste.
