A Blizzard B.THUNDERBIRD R15 LTD+COMP 12 DEMO ski set for on-piste performance

This unisex alpine ski set is part of the WINTER 2027 collection and is designed for intermediate to expert skiers seeking a high-performance ski for the piste. The sidecut of 121-70-102 mm on a 175 cm length and a turning radius of 15 m reflect a sporty design, well-suited for medium-sized turns on groomed snow. The combination of the Trueblend Piste wood core and the Full Sandwich construction with double titanal is designed to deliver a precise ski capable of maintaining its grip and handling during aggressive turns. The Full Camber profile reinforces this piste-oriented character, with a crisp edge engagement and even pressure distribution across the edges.

A 2Ti sandwich construction for stability and precision

The Blizzard B.THUNDERBIRD R15 LTD+COMP 12 DEMO ski pack features a Full Sidewall 2Ti + Trueblend Piste + Active Armor sandwich construction, designed to provide stability and precision in alpine skiing. The two layers of Titanal work in conjunction with the Trueblend Piste Woodcore to deliver a ski that stays planted in turns, with consistent edge grip transmission along its entire length. The Active Armor under the binding area is designed to control rebound and manage vibrations, which helps ensure predictable ski behavior as speeds increase. The full sidewalls frame this structure and contribute to crisp edge grip, in line with the factory edge angles of 0.9° on the base and 87.5° on the side.

A Trueblend Piste core for controlled performance

At the heart of the Blizzard B.THUNDERBIRD R15 LTD+COMP 12 DEMO ski set is a Trueblend Piste wood core, whose blend of different wood species is designed to deliver performance tailored to the piste. This core is paired with a Full Camber profile from tip to tail, delivering a progressive yet engaged turn initiation suited to the firm pressure applied by intermediate to expert skiers. The dimensions of 121-70-102 mm in the 175 cm length come with a weight of approximately 3,100 g per pair, reflecting a construction focused on stability rather than ultra-lightweight design. The available lengths, ranging from 155 to 180 cm, allow the turning radius to be adjusted from 11.5 m to 16 m depending on the length, while maintaining the same sporty on-piste ski profile.

Comp 12 Demo Bindings and FDT Race Plate Pro B

Equipped with the Comp 12 Demo binding, this alpine ski set features a DIN adjustment range of 4 to 12, suitable for intermediate to expert skiers. The binding is mounted on an FDT Race Plate Pro B, designed to provide a firm interface between the ski and the boot, in keeping with the model’s sporty character. The setup is designed to fully leverage the 2Ti construction and the Trueblend Piste core, providing stable support underfoot. The 165, 170, and 175 cm lengths available in this pack, all in black, embody a piste-oriented approach with a sleek, understated black ski design.

The Blizzard B.THUNDERBIRD R15 LTD+COMP 12 DEMO Ski Pack is thus presented as a unisex alpine ski pack from the WINTER 2027 collection, designed for intermediate to expert skiers seeking stability, precision, and sporty on-piste performance thanks to its 2Ti Full Sidewall Sandwich construction, Trueblend Piste core, Full Camber profile, and Comp 12 Demo bindings.
