The ski’s architecture is based on a Full Sidewall Sandwich construction, which precisely transfers energy from the foot to the edge and provides lateral stiffness that supports confident carving turns. The Hybrid Core 2.0 combines poplar wood and polyurethane: the poplar provides lightness and responsiveness, while the polyurethane helps absorb vibrations on groomed snow. This blend also aligns with a more eco-friendly design approach. Omega Titanal technology reinforces the ski with a U-shaped insert that improves torsional stiffness, a key factor in maintaining a stable line as speed increases.

Geometry and rocker for fluid turns and effective edge grip

With dimensions of 118/66/103 mm and a turning radius of 11 m, the Elite 9 K features a piste-oriented profile that’s narrow enough underfoot for immediate carving grip, while offering a generous enough tip to absorb irregularities. The Tip Rocker at the tip makes it easier to initiate turns and reduces the effort required to engage the turn, without sacrificing control during the turn. Adaptive Sidecut technology ensures a smooth geometric transition between the tip, waist, and tail, resulting in consistent turns and a sense of continuity throughout the turn. The high-density Sintered HD Base promotes smooth glide and good wear resistance.

NX12 Konect GW bindings designed for demanding skiers

The NX12 Konect GW bindings round out this package with a DIN setting of up to 12, suitable for advanced to expert skiers. They are compatible with both Alpine ISO 5355 A bases and GripWalk® ISO 23223 A bases, offering flexibility depending on the type of ski boot used. The KONECT system allows for tool-free adjustment, making it convenient to adjust the position of the bindings without specialized technical assistance. The 180° multidirectional release, provided by the Full Action front piece, helps reduce stress on the knee during a fall by distributing the release forces in multiple directions.
