Haglofs VASSI MID HOOD Fleece
The Haglöfs Vassi Mid Hood is a high-performance technical midlayer designed to be worn under a hardshell jacket for freeride skiing, snowboarding, or mountaineering. Its body-mapped construction combines several zones of Polartec® knit fabric with varying weights (186 g/m², 243 g/m², 95 g/m²), offering a balance of thermal insulation, breathability, and stretch for total freedom of movement.
The fitted hood with an elastic hem fits easily under a helmet, while the high fleece collar protects the chin from the cold. Three zippered pockets (two hand pockets + one chest pocket) provide storage for small items and skins. The elastic cuffs with thumbholes and the adjustable bottom hem lock in warmth.
Weighing 467 g (size L), this midlayer remains lightweight for its level of thermal protection. The materials are primarily made of recycled polyester and are Bluesign® certified, reflecting Haglöfs’ commitment to the environment.
