Its ISMF certification makes it a suitable choice for official ski mountaineering races.

The Skitrab GARA PRO BACKPACK: an organization system designed for competition performance

Access to safety gear is at the heart of this pack’s design. The pocket for the shovel and probe, intentionally positioned away from the back, allows for quick retrieval without having to take the pack off entirely. The crampon pocket with a magnetic closure makes it easy to stow and retrieve crampons in challenging conditions, without the hassle of fumbling with gloves. An ice axe loop completes the organizational system, while the shoulder pocket offers immediate access to small accessories on the move.

A ski-carrying system designed for quick transitions

The quick-release ski attachment system significantly reduces transition time—a critical factor in both racing and intense training. An adjustable ski carrier and a second attachment point allow you to secure your skis in various configurations depending on your body type or the type of terrain. The magnetic fastening system at chest level keeps the straps in place without any unwanted snagging during sustained climbs.

Hydration and carrying comfort on quick outings

The dedicated hydration bladder compartment allows you to manage your water intake without interrupting your activity—a necessity on light ski-touring excursions. The water bottle pocket, accessible from the shoulder, complements this feature for even more direct access. The combination of materials—nylon and polyester for the structure, Lycra and EVA for contact zones—contributes to functional support without added bulk. A key pocket rounds out the interior organization for everyday essentials.
