With this kit you'll have the essential tools for hot-waxing your skis.

By hot waxing your skis you'll get improved, consistent glide. The wax will nourish the base and prevent it from drying out. You'll be able to keep your skis for much longer.

This hot waxing set consists of:

-1 Vola travel waxing iron: This waxing iron is fully adjustable and very ergonomic.

Thanks to its small size and high performance, this small iron will become an easily transportable tool.

-1 bar of Vola Universal wax

A versatile wax for all types of snow. It is made in France

-1 3MM plastic scraper

A plastic scraper for scraping off excess wax after hot waxing.

-1 Vola nylon brush

The brush is used to clean the base before waxing and to remove excess wax after scraping.

- 2 brake elastics

These elastics will allow you to keep the brakes on your skis in the raised position to work efficiently.

Instructions for use:

Make sure your skis are at room temperature. Never wax cold or damp skis when they come back from skiing. Wax your skis in an airy room .

Clean the base with a cloth and then brush it to remove as much dirt as possible.

Set your iron to 100°, the optimum melting temperature for Universal Vola wax. The wax must melt without giving off smoke.

Melt a few drops of wax all along the ski. Spread them back and forth without stopping (to avoid burning the base and the wax). Make a final pass from front to back, again gently without stopping.

Leave the wax to cool and harden for a good 2 hours.

Scrape from the front to the back of the ski in successive passes, never forcing. Remove as much wax as possible.

The small notch in the scraper is used to remove wax from the edges.

When you can no longer remove wax by scraping, use the nylon brush, always working from front to back, brushing the ski several times until there is no more wax dust.
