Designed for skiers who prioritize downhill fun without sacrificing versatility, ORTLES NEXT 90 boots combine agility, lightness, and durability. Each pair is handcrafted in Bormio, Italy, using SkiTrab's traditional 14-layer construction—a guarantee of endurance and reliability season after season.

Why we love them

• Playful and easygoing: an accessible flex and progressive tip make it easy to initiate turns and change pace.
• Freerando versatility: 90 mm waist width for a balance between light touring and free descents—an excellent compromise on hard pack, transformed snow, or light powder.
• Controlled lightness: approximately 1190 g in 171 cm (for 90 mm waist), ideal for saving energy on the climb without losing any sensation on the descent.
• Technical construction: LI-Wood core (LIWOOD AIR) protected by a fiberglass and basalt cage, for good responsiveness while filtering vibrations.

What it brings to your ride

The combination of a high-end wood core and glass+basalt sheath offers a ride that is both forgiving and precise: you get a ski that forgives small mistakes, maintains good carving performance, and floats when the snow turns powdery. The shape of the tip and the new "swallowtail" tail improve maneuverability and turn exit—perfect for skiers who like to play with the terrain and vary their trajectories.

Who is it for?

The ORTLES NEXT 90 is designed for freerando skiers who want a ski that is light for ascents, but above all full of character on the descent: spontaneous, responsive, and easy to handle, it is suitable for intermediate to advanced skiers looking for immediate pleasure without complexity.
