Designed for skiers who enjoy both alpine touring and resort skiing, the Marker F12 Tour EPF L 305-365 binding is a unisex model aimed at those who don’t want to choose between efficient ascents and downhill performance. Its Extended Power Frame (EPF) improves power transfer to the ski, while its multi-standard compatibility gives it a level of versatility rarely found in this category.
The Marker F12 Tour EPF L 305-365 Binding: Power Transfer and Downhill Efficiency
The EPF frame is the central component of this freeride binding. By widening the contact surface between the binding and the ski, it optimizes power transfer, resulting in greater precision when turning and improved responsiveness on groomed snow. The Hollow Linkage 2 heel piece and the Triple Pivot Light 2 toe piece complement this design by providing a secure hold on the foot while allowing for controlled release. The binding is recommended for skis with a waist width of over 88 mm, which is well-suited for freeride or versatile ski touring use.
Easier ascents thanks to the three-position climbing aids
For the ascent phase, the Climbing Aids Frame Tour system offers three distinct positions: flat (0°), intermediate (7°), and high (13°). This range allows you to adjust the heel angle to the slope, reducing muscle fatigue on long ascents. The gas-injected fiber-reinforced composite baseplate helps keep the overall weight down, at approximately 1,180 to 1,190 grams per binding—a well-balanced design for mixed ascent-and-descent use.
Multi-standard compatibility and precise adjustments
The integrated Sole.ID technology makes this binding compatible with three types of soles: alpine boots (ISO 5355), touring boots (ISO 9523), and GripWalk boots (ISO 23223). The DIN range extends from 4.0 to 12.0, covering a wide spectrum of skier profiles up to 120 kg. The L version accommodates sole lengths from 305 to 365 mm. The stainless steel AFD anti-friction plate is both movable and height-adjustable, allowing for fine-tuning of release based on the boot being used. The binding is TÜV-certified, attesting to an independent verification of its safety features.
The Marker F12 Tour EPF L 305-365 Freeride Binding combines the demands of alpine touring and resort skiing in a single product, with a construction of aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon-reinforced polymers that reflects its technical ambitions.
