The Backland Pro UL W is designed for those who prioritize speed and agility in the mountains. With its narrow 98 mm fit, it wraps around the foot precisely without unnecessary weight. Its Prolite construction reinforces only the load-bearing areas to maintain the necessary rigidity, while its 929 g (in 24/24.5) make it one of the lightest options on the market. The result is an ideal boot for fast alpine outings without compromising on stability.

Natural performance with every stride

For long or technical ascents, it offers exceptional freedom of movement. The Frictionless Pivot ensures a smooth walk, allowing the foot to roll naturally, while the Free/Lock 4.0 mechanism locks the cuff in one simple movement to take full advantage of the 95 flex on the descent. Its 74° range of motion provides a valuable feeling of freedom on steep slopes or during fast approaches.

A ski touring boot designed for quick and intuitive use

Every feature is designed to make your transitions easier and optimize your comfort throughout your outing. Here's what you'll appreciate on a daily basis:

• The Speed Strap system, combining a buckle and strap, allows for quick adjustments even when wearing gloves.
• The BOA® Fit System allows for millimeter-precise adjustment in seconds, both on the ascent and descent.
• The washable, breathable, and customizable 3D Platinum Tour UL liner guarantees support and comfort over time.
• Dura Shield protection, with its double layer, extends the life of the liner against repeated friction and moisture.

A lightweight construction designed to last

Designed around a polyamide shell and cuff, the Backland Pro UL W reduces weight while maintaining essential rigidity in alpine terrain. Energy Backbone reinforcements improve power transmission for precise support, even on hard snow. With its light weight, precise 98 mm fit, and balanced 95 flex, it sets the standard for skiers looking for speed, technicality, and reliability.
