The new MAESTRALE RS by Scarpa is available from Speck-Sports.

This ski touring boot stands out for its ability to offer excellent sensations on the descent while guaranteeing comfort on the ascent.

This is achieved thanks to a Grilamid and Carbon shell that adds rigidity without sacrificing lightness. Flex is increased thanks to a higher strap, for a total of 125, making it perfect for expert skiers. The HRS strap keeps the heel firmly in place to avoid chafing in crucial areas, while theWave Closure lower buckle offers the same security as a conventional buckle system, but with less weight.

TheSpeedlock XT ski/walking mechanismis easy to operate and provides 56° of travel in walking mode.

For maximum safety, the top strap is equipped with a Recco detection system.

The Intuition liner is thermoformable for maximum comfort, warmth and a perfect fit.

Just got them so only a few times worn, good comfort so far. Not as easy to put on as the old maestrale but I guess it will get better with time
