Weighing just 145 g per binding, this unisex model is designed for skiers whose style of skiing demands minimalist and reliable gear. Its construction from 7075 aluminum, POM, and stainless steel reflects a rigorous technical approach, designed for fast outings and timed races.

The ATK TROFEO 6 Binding: Lightweight and Rigid for Peak Performance

Monolink® 1.0 technology is at the heart of this binding’s design: by reducing the number of parts in contact with the boot, it lowers the total weight while improving force transmission. This design choice is reflected in its compatibility with skis weighing less than 850 g, consistent with a speed-oriented use. The fixed release setting of 6 is suitable for skiers weighing between 75 and 90 kg, with no adjustment possible—a characteristic of competition bindings where standardization takes precedence over versatility.

Three climbing positions to adapt to the terrain

In touring mode, the heel piece offers three configurations: flat position, 37 mm elevation, and 45 mm elevation, the latter achieved by rotating the heel piece 180°. This range covers a variety of slopes and allows you to adjust your muscular effort according to the terrain’s incline. The Easy Entry® system makes it easy to step into the boot without complicated maneuvers—a practical advantage during quick transitions in competition or on challenging runs. The spring travel is 0 mm, in line with the racing heel cup philosophy that prioritizes responsiveness over cushioning.

Compatibility and Mounting Details

The TROFEO 6 is compatible with boots that meet the ISO 13992 standard for ski touring boots. It accommodates skis with a width between 60 and 82 mm, which corresponds to the lightweight skis used in mountaineering and speed touring. The crampon mount is integrated and removable, offering a practical option for traversing icy sections without adding weight to the assembly. The Rolling-In System, which features hardened steel sleeves on the U-shaped spring, contributes to the assembly’s mechanical durability. The binding is shipped without a brake; an R15 touring brake is available as an option.
