Norrona LOFOTEN GORE-TEX INSULATED Ski Pants

Designed for freeride skiers who don’t let the first few storms stop them, these women’s ski pants combine a 2-layer GORE-TEX® ePE membrane with PrimaLoft® Silver zoned insulation to handle the coldest mountain conditions. Norrona designed this model to strike a precise balance between weather protection, breathability, and freedom of movement, without compromising on any of these three aspects.

Targeted Protection and Insulation with the Norrona LOFOTEN GORE-TEX INSULATED Ski Pants

The GORE-TEX® ePE membrane guarantees waterproofing rated at 28,000 mm water column, complemented by fully taped seams and a PFC-free DWR treatment. Breathability achieves a RET rating of less than 20, allowing for effective moisture management during sustained exertion. The outer fabric, made of 100% recycled 150D polyester, is Oeko-Tex® certified. The PrimaLoft® Silver insulation, with a fill weight of 40 g/m² and distributed in a body-mapped design across the thighs, buttocks, knees, and the crotch, concentrates warmth where the cold is felt most during exposed descents, without adding bulk to areas that need it less.

Mobility and ventilation for intense freeride days

Articulated knees preserve a natural range of motion, essential for off-piste skiing. To manage rising temperatures, the X-open side ventilation system opens from the waist to the knee via water-resistant YKK® zippers, allowing for quick temperature regulation without having to remove the pants. The high waist at the back provides better coverage for the lower back and limits cold air from seeping in during bends. The Custom-Fit Waist System™ offers a personalized waist adjustment for a stable fit regardless of body type.

Features designed for the terrain

The integrated snow gaiters, with Vectran™ reinforcements on the inner ankles, form an effective barrier against snow that might seep in between the boot and the pants. The lower leg hems are also reinforced with a 360 g/m² fabric blend of 91% nylon and 9% polyester to resist abrasion from ski edges. Snap-in compatibility with Norrona snow skirts allows the pants to be attached to a jacket from the same line. For storage, two water-resistant zippered thigh pockets, a zippered back pocket, a key/card pocket, and a phone pocket integrated into the right thigh pocket cover your everyday needs both on and off-piste.
