Designed for male skiers who venture off-piste in extreme cold, the Norrona Lofoten Gore-Tex Pants combine a GORE-TEX® membrane with strategically placed PrimaLoft® Silver insulation to withstand the most demanding winter conditions. Their regular fit with articulated knees ensures full mobility across varied terrain without sacrificing protection from the elements. These freeride pants are designed for skiers who refuse to compromise between targeted warmth and freedom of movement.

Waterproof Protection and Thermal Insulation of the Norrona Lofoten Gore-Tex Pants

The 2-layer woven GORE-TEX® ePE outer fabric, made from 100% recycled 150D polyester, offers a waterproof rating of 28,000 mm, complemented by waterproof seams and water-resistant YKK® zippers. This protective shell is reinforced with a PFC-free DWR treatment, which effectively repels moisture from the surface. In addition, 40 g/m² PrimaLoft® Silver insulation is strategically placed on the thighs, seat, knees, and crotch—the areas most exposed to the cold during an intense day of skiing. The RET breathability rating of less than 20 limits heat buildup during sustained exertion.

Mobility designed for freeriding in all conditions

The articulated knee construction and high-rise back design follow every movement without restriction, whether on a slope or landing a jump. The Custom-Fit Waist System™ allows for precise waist adjustment, while the X-open side ventilation, extending from the waist to the knee, enables rapid temperature regulation on the lift or during breaks. The lower-leg reinforcements, made of 91% nylon, protect the areas most prone to abrasion from ski boots.

Functional details for a full day on the slopes

The integrated snow gaiters with reinforced ankle protection prevent snow from seeping between the pants and the boots—a practical advantage during deep powder runs. The pocket layout is designed for on-the-snow use: two spacious thigh pockets with water-resistant zippers, a zippered back pocket, a built-in pocket for a key card, and a dedicated phone pocket inside the right thigh pocket. Compatibility with Norrona snow skirts and the option to add a zippered bib with suspenders allow you to complete the protection system by adapting it to any outing scenario.

Both the outer fabric and the insulation are made from recycled polyester, and the fabric is Oeko-Tex® certified, guaranteeing that it is free of tested harmful substances. Weighing 808 g in size L, these ski pants fall into a technical category consistent with the demands of serious freeriding.
