With the Obex Contour Communi, POC offers a unisex ski helmet designed for all-mountain skiers who want to stay connected on the slopes without compromising on protection. Its built-in audio communication system and rotational impact protection technology make it a standout in its category.

THE OBEX CONTOUR COMMUNI: Built-in Audio and Protection on the Slopes

The POC Aid communication system, featuring JBL audio, is directly integrated into the helmet’s structure. It allows you to listen to music, make calls, and access smartphone features—including the voice assistant—without removing your gloves or handling a separate device. This device functions as a personal audio system via the phone: it is not a group intercom, which is worth noting for users who might be looking to communicate in real time with other skiers.

A design built to absorb impacts

The polycarbonate shell, combined with the EPS liner, forms an In-Mold construction—a process that fuses the two components into a structure that is both rigid and lightweight. The helmet incorporates MIPS Evolve technology, a brain protection system designed to reduce the rotational forces transmitted to the brain during an oblique impact. This design meets the EN 1077 Class B and ASTM F2040 certifications, two industry-standard requirements for snow sports helmets. The listed weight is 480 g in size M/L, which is consistent with the level of built-in features.

Ventilation and goggle compatibility for all-mountain use

Ventilation channels with integrated vents direct airflow toward the goggles, thereby reducing fogging. A dedicated clip secures the goggles directly to the helmet. The ear pads are removable, making maintenance easier and allowing for adjustments based on conditions. The 360° adjustment system allows for precise fitting of the helmet to the head, and the helmet is available in three sizes: 51–54, 55–58, and 59–62 cm. It is optimized for use with goggles from the same brand.
