The Essence MIPS helmet is designed for those seeking comprehensive protection combined with flawless visibility. Its integrated ZEISS spherical visor, featuring a Silver Flash S2-category lens, ensures remarkable clarity and effectively filters UVA, UVB, and UVC rays. The screen, which can be adjusted to suit your preferences, offers versatile light transmission for sunny days and changing conditions. The In-Mold construction combines a sturdy polycarbonate shell with an EPS liner, ensuring a lightweight, durable, and perfectly protective structure. The MIPS system adds to this package to reduce rotational forces in the event of an oblique impact and enhance your safety on the slopes.

Custom ventilation and constant thermal comfort

The GIRO Essence MIPS's ventilation system features 14 vents, 6 of which are adjustable via an ergonomic slider that is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. This combination helps maintain a comfortable internal temperature throughout the day, whether you're riding at altitude, in the forest, or in the late afternoon when the atmosphere becomes more humid. The chimney ventilation technology prevents fogging, while the internal Polartec PowerGrid foams promote breathability and quick drying for lasting comfort.

Precise fit and tailored finishes

The helmet offers ideal compatibility with all GIRO goggles, thanks to an interface designed to avoid gaps and optimize support. The Form Fit system ensures precise vertical adjustment via an intuitive rear dial that allows you to adjust the fit in seconds. The soft fleece lining, removable audio-compatible ear pads, and padded chin strap complete the experience by providing warmth and softness without compromising stability. The rear groove for the goggle strap and the protective cover provided demonstrate the care taken in the design of this model, which is designed to accompany skiers day after day.
