Designed for young skiers involved in competition and training, the Energiapura WENGEN FULL BLACK Shorts meet the technical demands of racing while ensuring complete freedom of movement. Their windproof and water-repellent construction provides effective protection against the elements, while their recycled and recyclable fabric reflects a responsible approach to the manufacturing of competitive ski apparel. Shorts designed to perform, from training to the race start line.

The Energiapura WENGEN FULL BLACK Shorts: Protection and Breathability on the Race Course

The fabric selected for these shorts combines three complementary properties: it blocks the wind, allows the skin to breathe, and repels water and snow spray. This triple action helps maintain comfortable warmth without the need for thick insulating materials, preserving the shorts’ lightness and freedom of movement. The non-restrictive cut is designed to accommodate the dynamic positions specific to race skiing, without ever hindering technical movements.

Reinforcements and finishes tailored for competition use

The hips feature a Nebraska insert, a targeted reinforcement that protects areas exposed during falls or contact with slalom gates. At the back of the waistband, non-slip silicone strips keep the shorts in place during activity, preventing any unwanted slipping under protective layers. The waist is adjustable via an elastic and/or Velcro system, making it easy to adapt to each child’s body type based on available sizes, ranging from ages 8 to 14.

A full-length opening for easy donning

Full-length zippers on the front of each leg allow the shorts to be opened completely. This design makes it easy to put them on over ski boots and protective gear—a practical feature that’s especially appreciated during training sessions when equipment changes are frequent. Certified to the Standard 100 by OEKO-TEX, the shorts guarantee that their composition is free of harmful substances—an important criterion for clothing worn in direct contact with the skin of young athletes.
