Racing and competition ski boots for performance-oriented skiers

The unisex Tecnica FIREBIRD R 130 ski boot is designed for passionate carving skiers seeking precision on the slopes. Its 130 flex and 96 mm shell width reflect a design engineered for firm support and precise hold. Inspired by the World Cup, it fits squarely into the world of racing ski boots with a distinctly technical approach.

A PU construction designed for precision

The PU shell and collar provide a cohesive structure, with a level of stiffness suited to performance-oriented skiing. This design supports precision skiing by offering a stable technical foundation, essential when the boot needs to remain precise and responsive. The Race Dept. fit system, combined with a floating tongue and laces, rounds out the package with meticulously engineered support.

A precise closure system for a snug fit

The four micro-adjustable aluminum buckles allow for fine-tuning of the tightness, while the 45-mm power strap with Power Lock enhances the wrap around the upper shin. This closure system promotes a direct feeling of control, particularly useful in racing where the precision of the fit matters as much as power transfer. The boot is designed for aggressive skiing, with a closure system engineered to remain intuitive and effective.

Angle adjustments for technical positioning

With a 12.5° forward lean and a 3.7° ramp angle, the FIREBIRD R 130 features technical specifications clearly geared toward competitive skiing. These parameters help position the skier within the boot and support a stance suited for carving and precision. The insoles, which comply with ISO 5355, round out the technical specifications of this model designed for the race and competitive categories.
