La Sportiva Trango Alpine GTX Hiking and Mountaineering Boots

Designed for demanding mountaineering enthusiasts, the La Sportiva Trango Alpine GTX offers a remarkable balance of lightness, stability, and technical precision. A true benchmark for classic alpine routes, this versatile mountaineering boot takes you through the most challenging terrain, from glaciers to rocky ridges and technical slopes.

A technical and comfortable mountaineering boot

Thanks to its 1.8 mm Idro-Perwanger® water-repellent leather upper, the Trango Alpine GTX combines exceptional abrasion resistance, flexibility, and long-lasting comfort. This premium leather provides excellent foot support while keeping the boot lightweight—an essential advantage during long ascents and technical approaches.

The GORE-TEX Performance Comfort membrane provides optimal protection against moisture and the elements while maintaining excellent breathability. This ensures ideal thermal comfort regardless of mountain conditions.

Stability and mobility on all alpine terrain

The patented 3D Flex System Evo™ technology effectively wraps around the ankle to improve stability without limiting the foot’s natural mobility. This design allows for precise movement on rough terrain, technical sections, and climbing passages.

The Vibram® Cube Evo sole incorporates the renowned Impact Brake System™, developed by La Sportiva’s R&D department. This innovative system optimizes shock absorption upon impact, improves traction on ascents, and enhances grip on descents. The specific positioning of the lugs increases the contact surface with the ground to ensure maximum grip on varied alpine terrain.

The Climbing Zone at the front ensures excellent precision on rock holds and facilitates climbing sections. At the rear, the TPU insert allows for a secure attachment of the crampons, enabling safe movement on snow and ice.

A design tailored for high-altitude mountaineering

Featuring a low-density polyurethane midsole and a carbon-reinforced nylon plate construction, the Trango Alpine GTX offers an excellent balance of stiffness, cushioning, and precision. It perfectly meets the needs of mountaineers seeking a reliable boot for technical routes, glacier traverses, and challenging alpine ascents.

Versatile, rugged, and high-performance, the La Sportiva Trango Alpine GTX is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to tackle the highest Alpine peaks with confidence.
